▷ v.4.2.9 SecuritySpy
Types of Camera
1) 207MW
This capture destination is used for all video and still image captures for this camera. By default, a capture destination is automatically created in the Captured Files folder (~/Documents/SecuritySpy/Captured Files/) so there is normally no need to choose one yourself. You generally don't need to access the capture destinations directly in the Finder - you can use the browser feature to view captured footage (but to reveal the Captured Files folder in the Finder, select it from the list of folders in the File menu.)
Added quad-view support for Axis panoramic cameras
The Camera Setup windows allows you to define settings for each camera. To open this window choose Camera setup... from the Settings menu, or hold the Apple (command) key and double click on a camera's video image. The Camera Setup window is divided into four sections:
Remote Patrol and Remote Patrol HD - remotely monitor SecuritySpy from your iPhone or iPad (developed by Complete System Solutions).

SecuritySpy supports USB, Thunderbolt and built-in video devices (which it refers to as "local" devices, to distinguish them from network devices). Such devices typically are not suitable for video surveillance, but can be a useful addition to a CCTV system in certain circumstances, and can be useful when using SecuritySpy for non-CCTV purposes (e.g. recording scientific experiments). Here are our network camera picks for 2019. They are listed in no particular order (they are quite varied in terms of cost and feature set, which makes them difficult to rank as a “top 10″ list), however they are all cameras that, due to their impressive features, we recommend to our customers for use with […] All in all, SecuritySpy is quite a powerful and useful tool for anyone who is planning to set up their own video surveillance system using a Mac. SPE-101 System requirements: Intel or PPC, Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.9. SecuritySpy supports most video and audio codecs (JPEG, MPEG-4, H.264, AAC, etc.), for efficient storage of captured footage. SecuritySpy can either perform the compression itself, or save the compressed data directly to disk so that the camera, not the computer, is doing all the work, resulting in the best performance and quality. Extensive and easy to use Help Guide Choose an audio input device to associate with this camera. This menu lists all available devices attached to your computer (supported devices include USB, FireWire, PCI and built-in audio inputs - audio from network devices is currently not supported).
